Millicent: A Novel About Blindness

The final twist in the plot is Millicent is discovered to be the head of the spy ring, which she runs from her own home. She touches the dead man's face and the surface of the clock and attempt to identify them. But what I really love about it is the end challenges, readers assumptions, about ableism and gender stereotypes. It's a person because it uses Braille.
