Should We Read the Bible Like Any Other Book?

Should we read the Bible like any other book? If we're approaching it for historical information, yes. Where this gets problematized is it's also used functionally very differently by millions of people every week. But I think there's a lot of value because sometimes the modern project has confused those functions.
