The Classic of Tea

Martin's work gave agriculturalists and farmers the first real written account of how to cultivate and process tea. Tea also spread throughout China during this time because it had become so embraced by Buddhist practice and culture. When Buddhism fell out of favor during the decline of the Tang Dynasty, tea culture did as well.
