The Middle East's Response to Saudi Arabia's Nuclear Deal

He says Saudi Arabia has a two-track policy: engage politically and economically with Iran, but also build their own military capabilities. The Saudis will pursue a better, more stable accord with Iran while working with U.S., other partners, he says. But they may not couch it as that; they may talk about ensuring safety and sovereignty like Emiratis do.
