How to Prevent Bone Stress Injuries

Three or four risk factors which can include greater than 12 hours participation per week. Participation in a leanness sport such as running, menstruating, regularity and BMI less than 21 could increase the risk of bone stress injuries by 15 times. Often it's too late when they come to see us. You really have to try and get them educated as early as possible.
