Most whistleblowers end up leaving their companies within a year. So it is very difficult to speak truth to power and then be considered part of the team again. I think anytime you have employees and executives, board members who have massive amounts of stock options with very short-term vesting periods, it can impact the decisions they make. Sometimes it comes down to what is your highest value? For me, that's integrity.
