The Problem With Public Sector Banks
The costs of actually keeping them in good shape have become so high, because the government balance sits have expanded on other fronds. So i think the labor itself to recognize that they would have more interesting growth potential if some of these entities were better governed at arm's length from the government and eventually privatized. And ultimately, even though, as a saver in a public sector bank, or as an employee in a public private bank may feel good about their presence, the economy is paying a huge cost for this.
