"We spent from that day before the pilot was written all the way to the up fronts in May, figuring the show out okay and let me tell you about something that we figured out in that room. The pilot had these little micro flashbacks to the airplane before they crash right, and beyond that there was no plan to do any kind of flashbacks on the show," he said. "I'm proud of to the to the point of arrogance. And also we knew a lot about what we were doing you know we literally figured it all out right."
