This virus is going to continue to mutate, particularly when it transmits at such high levels. The big question is really, in my mind, you know, whether it can escape pre existing immunity s. If it can do that, then the pool of susceptible people in the population who can get infected and transmit the virus is much, much greater. It's still quite early, and we're still learning more about the b a four six variant.
