The Queensland Supergrid Is the Backbone of Our Nation Building Infrastructure

The Queensland Supergrid will require 64,000 jobs to be created by 2040. The plan also commits our government with my colleague, the Minister for Employment and Training, to develop an energy sector workforce plan. We have been making really significant progress since we took office in 2015. What this announcement delivers today is really the start of a massive ramp up. It's very much in line with the Integrated System Plan, which I think has reassured a lot of people out there,. And it hasn't fallen short of that. People want to be a part of it.
