The Church and Spiritulism

What the Church condemns in Spiritism is superstition with its evil consequences for religion and morality. The Church forbids the general body of the faithful to take any part in Spiritualistic practices. In the manifestations which occur, the Church suspects that diabolic agencies may pair accidents intervene. But it hasn't determined the essential nature ofspiritual phenomena.
