Virtual Reality Solutions for MRI and Fear
A lot of phobias are being tackled with virtual reality actually and Tom Caruso and the chariot program here Sam Rodriguez at Children's Hospital have been trying to help kids get over phobias by distracting them with video games. They can pretend while they're guided through to see what it would be like to be in the MRI scanner, which is monitoring their head position so we could tell whether they're moving or not. The idea that there would be a prep you know we all prep for various procedures and various visits and why not prep everybody for for their MRIs?
