The Importance of Circumcision
In verse 13 Moses tells the sons of Jacob to get circumcised. This is deceitfully because they had to file their sister, Dinah. He doesn't want anybody to think this was a good thing for the sons of Israel to do on this occasion. There is no mention of the Lord in the whole chapter. The only thing religious in this chapter is circumcision and that is being misused.
