Did Solomon Really Exist?

i really want to talk about two things, did solomon actually exist? And well, the tok, i know. So there is scant archaeological or extra biblical evidence that david or solomon ever existed. We have a pottery shard called the ostrachon 18, which might refer to solomon's temple. It refers to away's house. There's an iron age temple outside of jerusalem called tel mata a. A lot of people think that solomon was more like a tribe chief, or maybe ruled over a regional area due to the fact that we just don't have much extra biblical evidence for him.
