AI Strategy and Policy at Google DeepMind and OpenAI

In your guide you suggest that people could potentially work on AI strategy and policy questions at places like Google DeepMind or OpenAI. What concretely could you see people doing at places like that if they took a job there? Yeah so to some extent people at those organizations are doing something fairly similar to what I and my colleagues are doing in academia which is thinking about what the problems are and trying to develop solutions.
