The Iron Bed in Og's Bedstead
Some scholars say that Og was about 12 feet in height. He would have been the tallest giant in the biblical record. But his height alone would not have been the reason for destroying all the men, women and children in his cities. The Ammonites following behind the Hebrew army of scavengers found the iron bed in Og sleeping quarters at either Eddrey or Astrath. They took it to Rabah, the royal city of the Ammonites. It became a famous museum piece.
