Keeping Your Soul in Peace and Quiet

In Ignatius of Loyola's line, quote, always try to keep your soul in peace and quiet. Because that is where we hear God's voice, where we get his vantage point on reality. Jesus was not a monk, not to slam a monk, but Jesus was not one. In even the early monks used to say, we withdraw from the world for the world. The end is to come back to people in love. If you're introverted like myself, our quiet is just another version of spiritualized narcissism and self love.
