The Soho Crisis in the Sixties

Public sector unions threatened to strike during the spring wage offensive unless their wages were pegged to parody. Oto was very concerned the strike would be a disaster without backing from other unions. The student movement, where previously it was united, eventually exploded in the sixties into a series of competing factions. So support for hard line left politics was dead and organized labor.
