The Control of the Semiconductor Market

In one of the other articles I read in Global Times, they accused the United States on the issue of Taiwan of trying to create a kind of encirclement of China. And it's the semiconductor thing, if I understand it correctly, Taiwan is not just one of the largest, but in terms of the thinnest way for semiconductors that are really necessary for real high tech and commercial tech. The Netherlands is the only place on earth that makes the machines that make the machines in their back order for about five years,. because that's why all these other countries can't just like why can't China just make its own high level semiconductor.
