Water, wood, fire, earth, and metal are in relationship with one another. Each time this is what they call the cycle of destruction or rebellion. Water douses fire and puts it out, so water destroys fire, but fire and rebellion can boil away water. So that's the cycle of creation. One creates an X,. This is not the Greek model with the four elements which are in these kind of opposing pairs or whatever. These the elements create one another...This is a completely different dynamic model.
