Gillum Chastlow is a former Google employee who has turned into an activist against what he sees as the harms of his former employer. His research found that the vast majority of political videos recommended by YouTube were anti-Clinton and pro-Trump because those videos got the best engagement. Gillam found that searching is the earth flat around and following Google's recommendations sent users to flat earth conspiracy videos more than 90% of the time.
