Synthetic Data - The Fifth Elements Today
Data is the fifth element nowadays, next to earth and air and everything else. You can't only look at the code of an artificial intelligence system. You need data to understand how it performs and how it interacts with other systems. Synthetic data allows you to access this data or even create sets that include examples also of marginalized groups. This would help auditors or regulators to really thoroughly test any e system.
