When i moved back to Adelaide in 1996 and it was a low socio-economic school. The young phys ed is there said to me look it's not working we needed to try something different. We redesigned our physical education curriculum from year eight through two year twelve on the notion of the the game sense approach. By the time i left there six years later, four students out of final year cohort of 54 doing year 12 p.m. had gone into that year.
