Do I Need to Train in Zone Two?

When it comes to racing, should we still be in zone two when we're going out there for five, six, seven, 10 hours? Or should we jump into the zone three at all? You might not need to other than mechanical efficiency. But if your goal is also mechanical efficiency, you've got to move your body a little quicker every now and then. And I think that's why it's so important to practice to get to know your body.
