The Importance of Confidence in the Lord

Paul tells the Thessalonians, "May the Lord direct your hearts to have the love of God and the steadfastness of Christ" He doesn't say direct your hearts so that you would have theLove of God. No, this is sort of an anchor statement. This is, no, I want your hearts to be anchored in the love ofGod and the Steadfastness of Christ. There is coming at some time when people will believe Jesus is coming but they don't know it yet.
