We need standards that like people learn and how to interact with computers but I do think that there is a huge gap oftentimes. One of the other forces for me is my last 30 years were informed by realizing back a long time ago that I didn't like the word consumer. We returned into near consumers instead of being treated as citizens anymore. There's just this deep sense of apathy but also a lack of agency. And we kind of managed to very effectively kill off agency to the point where we're in the society the spectacle and people are busy doing tick talks or whatever else.
