Is Someone Avoidant or Just Not Into Me?

In early dating, most avoidant people are not in their avoidant mode. Their strategies of withdrawing or going hot and cold probably haven't been activated yet. That tends to come into play a little bit later when things become more serious. There's no need to panic and draw some sort of conclusion about someone else's behavior based on what I'm about to share. It is just sharing observations and reflections from my experience and what I know to be true. But usually it's not at the very early stages of dating.
