If you don't have your legs involved, you just don't have the control to effectively apply the stuff. Even with a big strength advantage, like if i'm on top of you in side control and you try to camora me, the only thing that is going to allow you to apply that camora is me refusing to move. And jous sit there. I can quite easily spin out of tht and armbar. You i can do a lot of things. But these are not reliable or technically sound ways to deploy submissions,. You don't, you're relying more on a dice roll than you are on actual sound technique.
