Lawmakers added a provision to the National Defense Authorization Act that would require the Fed to publish which companies apply for and receive Master accounts. The bill cleared the House last week and is expected to clear the Senate soon. This legislation is a shot over the bow to the Fed system that it remains to opaque even to specific requests by lawmakers.
