The Effect of Video Games on Attention
It just seems to fly in the face of all the things that so many mothers and fathers have probably said to their kids about, you know, Jimmy or Betty can't concentrate. But it sounds like what you're saying is that it actually enhances their ability to do that. Well, I mean, I guess there's a couple of key points there. It's not clear whether this particular ability is changed in action gaming but they are very good at filtering out information from dull situations.
