There are concerns that ESG is risking global energy security by contributing to underinvestment in energy supply. The other issue coming up with politics relates to stewardship. Right now you probably have funds with any one of the three big service providers, state street, pen guard or black rock. If you do, you have almost certainly implicitly allowed them to vote your shares.
