What Is Chomine E-Cash?

Kashu is a Chomine e-cash system. The name comes from David Chom, the inventor of this system in 1982. It allows you to make private payments online that are untraceable and anonymous. You don't have the money on your hard drive; it's a piece of data which can be sent over email or transferred via wire transfer. To prevent double spend, what you do is you take that cash and send it to the bank - sometimes called Mint. And now, all this whole process is done in a way that I cannot be identified as an exchange between us. That's amazing.
