When his father died, Edward was chasing a land castrian force led by the important nobleman Jasper Tudor. As Edward marched east from Wales, his ally the Earl of Warrick was growing increasingly insecure in London. On February 17th, 1461, the two armies caught up to each other at the city of St. Albans. After so much blood spilled, so many heads rolling onto the ground that felt like a lifetime ago. They weren't so lucky the second time. The land castrians routed Warrick's army and sent the Earl packing along with most of his supporters.
