I didn't want people to think that what i was doing was so great, or even better because it was someone that's visualinpar. I wanted to compete on the same level and be judged at the same level as everybody else. So coming into it, they had to adapt my particular cooking station so that i could use it as a cock hoos visually impaired. But i is not like i would ask for more time for my challenge, or expect, like, a different ingredient,. Or expect special rules to be made for me.
Christine Ha fell in love with cooking in college when she tried to recreate the Vietnamese dishes her mother had cooked for her as a child. But when a rare neurological condition left Christine legally blind by age 24, she worried she might never be able to cook again.
