The Holy Spirit in the Church

Vatican II called for kind of a re-engagement, a re-discovery of pneumatology. The East, especially the Eastern church fathers, were really, have a lot to say on the Holy Spirit. It was later in church history that the Holy Spirit had more of a doctrinal development because early heresies were all about Christ.
