The Banks Don't Want Capital, Right?
Some people in the U.S. have accounts with Bank of China and so on. They still use their bank account in China to buy stuff online. But now you've got people that are overseas that cannot access their funds unless they go back to China, back to the branch to get it sorted out. This whole thing about just randomly freezing people's accounts is becoming quite a big thing. And especially for overseas Chinese, it's terrifying.
