Mel Van Jerome Blank, Man of a Thousand Voices
Mel Van Jerome Blank passed away at the age of 81. It was his voice that took cartoons into the mainstream. His final resting place is at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, just a few blocks from his and Bugs Bunny star on the Walk of Fame. If I saw a person smile, that to me was payment themselves. And if I could make them laugh when they had been very sad, it was great payment to me.
