Do You Think the DOJ Will Bring a Tax Fraud Claim?

Tish James is going after it because you said New York state taxes they're losing out on. What's the federal version of it? Like when someone does a tax fraud that likely would affect, I would assume the federal return and their state return. Is it two separate, like investigations that can happen? Yeah. It does not offend double jeopardy because they're two separate sovereigns,. And then a federal action would bring an action under the internal revenue code which says you filed X document with the IRS and X document is fraudulent.
