I can't tell you how many times I've had conversations where people signed up with me on ADP List specifically to get portfolio advice. And we never got there, because I always say the same thing: Let's talk about you first. It reminds me of when my kids were looking for something, you know, they lost a toy or their shoe. They come to someone else and ask them to do the work for them.
