Temptation has the implication of being that like some vice or desire you have that is pulling you away from the moral path. Whereas experimenting, at least in our post-scientific revolution world is generally seen as a positive thing. In 43 he says, all philosophers so far have loved their truths, but quote, they will certainly not be dogmatists. It must offend their pride also their taste if their truth is supposed to be a truth for every man. My judgment is my judgment. No one else is easily entitled to it.
