How to Write a Sermon Outline

Pastor: I feel reluctant to read a James Boyce or a Phil Reichen homiletical or Expositional commentary because I find that their outlines just feel wonderful. So in my sermon writing, I will not read one of those commentaries in a haunted house or until after I write my sermon. "I would be super hesitant just to take somebody else's outline... It feels very apathetic and make it a bit lazy," he says. He writes down every question he can think of and makes himself write an answer to the question his best gets really good.
