Park's Adventures in Africa

In 1804, Robert Park set out on a mission to map the Niger River in Africa. He was commissioned as an officer in the British Army with the rank of captain. The expedition arrived at the town of Kaye in late April 1805,. not far from Pizania, where Park had set out from his journey a decade before.
