I Am the Bread of Life

Jesus said, if you'll eat my flesh and drink my blood. Many of his disciples turned back and no longer followed him. The Israelites had all kinds of purity laws about blood. To come in contact with blood made you spiritually impure. Those laws are rooted in the Mosaic covenant.
