The Trade-Offs of Starting a Startup
As a parent, you got to be careful about trying to direct and stuff. But when you're in your like 30s or 40s, you're like, all right, I'm not going to make this work. You get us two or three at bats at Y Combinator. Your second or third one hits. You make a lot of money. Things are successful. It's just that you lose your ownership. You lose your agency by getting investors. That may not be a bad thing for us.
