The astrology column took seemingly innexurable social forces by which people consciously or unconsciously felt oppressed and externalized them, projecting them onto the stars. By encouraging readers to exercise the prerogatives of narrowly individualized instrumental rationality, astrology thus conditioned them to reproduce the irrational contradictions under which they lived. If the system's gone under a certain type of pressure, seems again, this theme, eerily mirrored or like hauntingly reproduced in the supposedly personalized, not mass media space of something like Facebook where it's like, what type of person are you? What category are you? And then here's who's bothering you today!
