The Beginning of a Cluster
In the early days, guge's clusters were racks of machines with specific purposes. This is where they talked about having developers that would start, you know, every three months or so, about how long it would take to stand up a cluster. As gol grew, the number of clusters and machines ha started getting out of hand, so that the scripts had to get better. And this is all the stuff we've already gont to talk about. Um, hell, some engine like shelling in machines to look at logs and doing ragparses, parsing, that's lot's something you can do, and you have a million competers. So now this doesn't make sense.
