What made you want to become a cardiac surgeon was a series of stupid mistakes. I dropped out of engineering and changed to medicine that was as stupid as the second decision deciding to do surgery was because i found a bunch of physicians so annoying. We can only transplant hundred hearts a year in the UK at post because it's limited by donor organ supply. It requires that a young healthy person dies so that an old sick one lives. The heart is just a pump five liters a minute that's all it does, no emotion or love nothing.
