What Is Jesus' Response to His Authority?

The entire law can be summed up by loving God and loving other people. Powerful people have nothing to prove. When you're confident in your identity and don't live from a place of powerlessness, you don't have to prove anything to anyone, including yourself. Sometimes we call it ambition and drive, but really it's insecurity.
