Dr. Samard: We don't know just yet what the perfect way of treating it is, but as more better studies come out with it, I think we'll have a clearer picture of what to do after you've shocked the patient three times and still stuck in V-fib. He says at this stage important that we stalk the epinephrine and that if you're following the algorithm at this point, you've probably at least given one dose, if not two doses of epinephrine. Todd: There's some promising outcomes coming that dual sequential defibrillation for refractory V-f fib may very well be the way to go.
