I've led a very interesting life where I think I worked in five different labs in the first three years of my life. My work with patients has involved a whole range from classic amnesic syndrome, Alzheimer's disease and schizophrenia. And more recently I'm working on accelerated long-term forgetting in temporal lobe epilepsy. Margaret Thatcher asked us to advise her about lie detectors but we said it was not a good idea so she didn't get them.
